Bailey's Best Friend

My niece's best friend, 14 month old Louie, a yellow lab puppy, is in a fight of his life. Louie seems to have ingested something rancid that infected his bowel and now is in septic shock.
Bailey noticed "Lou" wasn't acting right and took him to his vet. They quickly dismissed it as a virus. 8 hours later he was being rushed to the local animal emergency room where they had to do emergency surgery.
They are trying desperately to save his life. They have done many tests, surgery and are now giving him blood plasma to try to fight the sepsis.
Of course Bailey, a senior in college, is trying to do everything to save her baby but the financial decision is becoming an obstacle.
