Help us CANstruct Darth Vader to Fight Hunger

Bailey Edward Design, Inc. would like to thank you for your consideration to support our firm's initiative to build at the 2019 Canstruction® Chicago  event.  By creating sculptures entirely out of cans, Canstruction® helps raise awareness of hunger issues in the Chicago area.  The sculptures will be built in the Merchandise Mart on October 10 and will be on display for public voting through November 3, when they will be dismantled and the cans of food donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository .  The Greater Chicago Food Depository is Chicago's food bank, providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in the community.  At last year's Canstruction® Chicago event, nearly 138,000 pounds of shelf-stable food was donated to 700 soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and other programs in Cook County and we hope to do even better this year!

We need your help to raise $2,500 to purchase the cans for our Star Wars-themed canstruction entitled "May the Forks Be With You," featuring everyone's favorite villain, Darth Vader.  We hope you support our desire to turn Ana-CAN Skywalker to the Dark Side by donating to this worthy cause.  Our team would appreciate any size donation - every dollar donated helps provide 3 meals to those in need.

Bailey Edward is a responsive architecture and engineering firm that designs for clients with a social purpose. We offer our creative and integrated design approach to provide innovative design solutions that transform the built environment for the social good.  This will be the second year that Bailey Edward will be participating in this wonderful community event and we couldn’t be more excited.
