Keep Baihua Kids Fosterhome Running

Welcome to the GoFundMe page for Baihua Kids International Foundation. We are the non-profit organization that runs a special foster home in Southern China which houses medically fragile children and gives them love and medical care while they wait for their forever homes.

Currently, our need is great.  

Since the kids’ old foster home closed, we have been working hard to gain new sponsors.  We’re gaining support, but we’ve just lost a very large grant that we needed to make sure we can keep going for the long-term.  We need to quickly find new funding to keep looking after these children by providing nannies to care for them, along with food and the rest of the necessities their home needs to sustain them, and help them to thrive.

If we don’t raise enough money to keep us going for several months, while we continue to build a new base, they are in serious threat of losing their home and their nannies. Some of these children have serious medical conditions which could mean they will not survive should they lose their one to one care.   

The home these kids have right now provides a stable and loving home life, with adequate nutrition, love, stimulation and medical care.    This is crucial for their ability to feel safe and attach securely.  

Your support is desperately needed to avoid any interruption in these children's lives.    We spend about $500 a month just on diapers, and our total monthly costs exceed $7,000 Cdn.   This covers nannies, food, medicine, housing, clothing and medical needs.  All of your donation goes directly to the kids.  Our board of directors are all volunteers.
