Bahia Marina Hurricane Damage

Hi there, my name is Matt Williams from Austin, TX.  As we all know Hurricane Harvey has done quite a number to the Texas Coast and surrounding areas.  Four years ago my parents "retired" and bought a small marina (built in the 1960's) in a little town called Ingleside, TX.  For the last four years, my parents and my younger brother have poured every ounce of hard work, sweat and financing as they could into the marina.  When the hurricane hit about 10 miles from Ingleside their world was turned upside down. Unfortunatley the hurricane rendered their 5 apartments (including the one my parents reside in) uninhabitable.  On top of that, the storm and stray boats completely damaged almost every boat slip at the marina.  It is estimated that there will be no power to the marina for at least a month.  Repairs to the electrical alone at the property is estimated to cost in the 10's of $1000's and the lumber to rebuild the docks and boat slips should be just as much.  
The only source of income for the marina are boat slip payments and rent from the apartments.  While our family works to figure out how to rebuild and what options there may be, it would be greatly appreciated if you would be intereseted in helping to support our cause and get their business hopefully back on its feet.  The funds raised will go toward my parents day to day living expenses and bills.  It will also go toward efforts to rebuild the marina and/or keeping the marina's bills paid while apartments and boat slips are out of commsion.
The plan is to set up a checking account for my parents and I to withdraw funds to complete projects at the marina as we begin to rebuild. 

My parents would never approve of me creating this account as they have never been ones to look for charity handouts, however I can't stand to think about what their other options would be without help.  With little insurance assistance, and no idea when it will arrive, they are living truly by the seat of their pants.
