Support with University Tuition Fees

Hi, thank you for taking time to read my campaign!

I am Saurav from India, and I recently moved to Brighton for my education. After several attempts across different Universities, I have been able to secure a place for the Development Studies Program at the University of Sussex. I am a true believer of knowledge as a means of empowerment of self and the change we aspire to bring in the world, and finding motivation for this has never been an issue for me. Unfortunately, financing my studies is bit challenging and I am sharing my challenges below.

Any contributions or support , no matter how small, will be of great help for my tuition fees and I will forever be grateful for your noble support.

Why should someone help me with my Tuition fees?

I fully understand that the this quest of learning is my sole responsibility and any resources required should be owed by me and nobody else. In the last four months, I have explored all the possibilities for securing the finances for my studies. I was expecting a scholarship but it did not work out. Despite of all the efforts I am standing with a deficit of £7500, however I am not seeking help with the entire amount.

Where will your donations go?

In an attempt to lower my overall expenses, I have opted for the University with a lower tuition fees when compared to other admission opportunities I had for the 1 year course. Given my loans which I completed sometime back, I could only manage £3000 from borrowings. I am fundraising for £4500 for education.

Wouldn’t you like to invest in someone who works with a purpose for greater good?

Since the last few years, I have been working with villages and grassroot communities in India, bridging the gaps to give the communities live a dignified life through setting up water connections, helping building houses, giving access to safe sanitation facilities to women, supporting formal and value based learning of children, supporting education of the poorest of the poor youth and supporting those who have no one to look after them.

My degree in future will allow me to engage more with more such grassroot communities through a diverse set of social and charitable projects, and at scale. So by supporting my education, you will be sponsoring a change maker contribute towards making bigger impact in the world. Rather than focusing on just one project, by supporting my education, you are investing in someone who will support numerous lives in the future through different engagements.I want to give back, and I am asking you to invest in that prospect.
