Back to Dancing at Lake Merritt

With news of vaccines, we are feeling hopeful about dancing in 2021!  Although we don't have any specific update for reopening and resuming dancing, we want to keep our communities together and stay in touch with you.  And we want to invite your support. 

We will be expanding our volunteer committees and board. And we will definitely need your financial support as well.

If you're feeling wistful about dancing and your dance friends and you are moved to contribute, we would definitely welcome your donation of any amount.    We have a high level of clarity now about what it will take to keep Lake Merritt Dance going. We will need a combination of rent from our dance programs and donations from our communities to meet our expenses.

Lake Merritt Dance continues to operate under the fiscal sponsorship of Texas Rose Dance, a 501c3 corporation. We are in the process of applying for our own 501c3 designation and hope to be operating under own own non-profit when we reopen.
