Back of The Yards Wrestling

Hello family and friends! This past winter I was blessed with the opportunity to coach a wrestling team on the southside of Chicago. The southside of Chicago can be rough at times, especially during the spring and summer. The kids I coach are absolutely amazing! They were very welcoming and are very driven to succeed in life. The very memorable season we had is something I will hold close to my heart forever. Throughout the extraordinary experience I learned many life lessons. One of which is how fortunate I am, and how there are many ways to spread the fortune in order to help others. I have always valued helping others in need. Which is why I want to help give these kids the opportunity to grow as individuals on and off the mat during the spring and summer time through wrestling. With that being said, I would like to help them by receiving help from others! I would greatly appreciate any and all donations to help these deserving Chicago athletes! New or used equipment would also be very appreciated.

Why would this help? The donations will help provide the wrestlers an opportunity they have never had, to compete at off-season tournaments and grow as individuals on and off the mat. Off-season tournaments have fees and can be hosted in multiple locations, and the donations will help cover these expenses. Wrestling is a great sport that has taught me personally to be passionate, disciplined, committed, and resilient. These traits can be learned by the wrestlers and applied to their lives as well!
