Beth and Josh Linn are a beautiful couple from the small town of Richmond MN. Josh is an electrician who works for a small business, Liberty Electric. Beth is a Health Unit Coordinator for the Cardiac Ultrasound Unit at St. Cloud Hospital. They have one daughter, Mia who is excitedly expecting a new baby sister!
On May 17, 2018 Baby Linn is due to make her entry into this world. She will be born in Minneapolis, MN with half a heart. At Beth and Josh's 20 week ultrasound, they discovered that Baby Linn has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). HLHS is a very rare congenital heart defect that affects only 1 out of 4344 babies born in the United States.
Once arrived, Baby Linn will have to undergo three open heart surgeries with the first being the Norwood Procedure just a few days after she is born.
Beth is an amazing mother, wife and friend. As a Cardiac Ultrasound Department we feel very passionate about one of our own being diagnosed with such a complex disease. We felt that the best way for us to help this family in their time of need was to raise money for medical expenses, lodging, lost wages, and the much needed time off to care for their daughters.
