Baby Vicente's Medical Bills

Donation protected
As some of you know and many may not, my sister, Rachel and her fiance, Pedro, had a beautiful baby boy, Vicente Kawai Molina on 2/19/18. Just 11 days later, Vicente was rushed to the ER because he was having seizures. Poor little baby was in the ICU for 4 days before being moved to pediatrics. He has had multiple tests run, including blood work, MRI, CT, spinal tap and EEG monitor. He has had low calcium and vitamin D. Vicente has been on an IV with seizure meds and calcium. He was also on oxygen for awhile. Vicente has been poked and prodded and is just exhausted, as are mommy and daddy.

Although the doctors have not come to a solid conclusion as of yet, they are pretty confident that Vicente has under developed parathyroid glands (not to be confused with the usual thyroid issues). It is extremely rare and now they need to see an endocrinologist to see if this is going to be a life-long issue or something he might grow out of. Right now, we do not have the answers.

During this time, Pedro (who supports their little family) has not left his fiance and new born baby's side. He has not been able to work as he needs to be there for his family. They have house bills piling up and an unknown amount of medical bills, sure to come, sooner than later.

I humbly ask you to please help with anything you can, it does not matter the amount. Even if you cannot help monetarily, please share this and keep them in your prayers. Money should be the last thing they are stressed about.

Thank you,

Amber (Vicente's proud Aunty)
