Baby Owen's Fight Against CDH

We found out baby Owen has a rare birth defect called CDH (congenital diaphragmatic hernia). After numerous tests and seeing specialists, it is determined that the case is considered moderate and the outcome looks very optimistic. Catherine & baby Owen have been asked to participate in a CDH case study in which the doctors perform in utero surgery in hopes to enhance development of the baby's lungs. Catherine will have to relocate to Houston where this procedure and delivery will be performed. Texas Children's Hospital has a very good staff and we are blessed to have their support and expertise in high risk pregnancies such as this. 
It is a stipulation of the doctors for Catherine and another adult to be in close proximity of the hospital at the time of procedure until delivery.  After delivery, baby Owen will have to undergo surgery to repair the hernia and be monitored by fetal specialists at the NICU.  We are hopeful that all will be fine, in God's time, and ask for your support and prayers over the next several months.
