Baby Nolan's homecoming

As many of our close friends know, baby Nolan decided to make his debut into this world a few weeks earlier than we planned for. With this surprise appearance, he was transferred immediately to the NICU to be stabilized and put in an environment to grow and be comfortable. My poor little fighter has had to endure two major surgeries already but keeps us in good spirits when he opens his eyes and kicks his little legs for us. He is at a hospital in Houston which means that we must drive a nice commute just to see him everyday and my wife and I stay awake many hours just to watch him sleep. As I am in my last semester at Texas A&M Galveston, I am forced to attempt to finish my testing which means my wife stays at the hospital by herself and gets a room at the Ronald McDonald House whenever she gets the opportunity. Just last night, when I picked her up from the hospital at 1am, she suddenly had a seizure in my car which scared me to death. I immediately took her to the ER where they assumed it could have been caused by stress and fatigue. We are staying in good faith and hope to see our boy come home as soon as he possibly can.
