Baby Mirra Wolff & Family
Donation protected
On Wednesday. December 9, Molly received an alarming phone call from her in-home daycare provider. The ambulance was called for Baby Mirra in regards to concerning health issues, including going limp in the arms, and making unusual noises. Mirra was taken by her parents to the Emergency Room where she was immediately admitted to Blank Children’s Hospital. At this time, parents had thought they lost their baby girl.
The results of a MRI indicated bleeding in her brain, due to trauma. At this point, DHS became involved. After investigation from DHS, it has been found that 3-month-old Baby Mirra was purposely dropped by her daycare provider. There are also signs of Mirra being shaken. Test results also showed that there is blood behind her eyes, which can only come from being shook. It also indicated that this was not a first-time occurrence.
Mirra is in the ICU suffering from severe brain trauma including a concussion, swelling of the brain, stroke, multiple seizures, and lack of oxygen, along with being diagnosed with shaken baby syndrome. Mirra is receiving the best care from the doctors and nurses at Blank Children’s Hospital.
All donations will go directly to Baby Mirra and the Wolff family. Donations will cover medical and other unforeseen expenses. Please keep the Wolff family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
