Help Support Louise, Ste, and Their Beautiful Triplets
You can follow along their journey thus far on Insta: @shaw_triplet_journey
Hi, my name is Ally, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister Louise, her husband Ste, and their growing family in Wollongong. On August 12th, they welcomed three precious baby girls—Ada, Lillie, and Maggie—born naturally conceived and very unexpectedly via C-section at Randwick Royal Women’s Hospital in Sydney.
Louise and Ste are already loving parents to Grace (aged 4), and their lives have now been blessed (and forever changed) by the arrival of their triplets. While Ada and Lillie are thriving in the NICU, little Maggie has faced serious health challenges since birth. She was born with brain damage (areas of dead brain tissue), has suffered seizures, and has needed resuscitation on more than one occasion. Maggie has now been transferred back to Sydney’s Royal Women’s Hospital for urgent monitoring and care.
As you can imagine, this has placed enormous emotional and financial strain on Louise and Ste. They are doing everything they can to stay strong, but the reality is overwhelming. They’ve already taken out a second mortgage to extend their home in Wollongong to make space for their three new arrivals. Looking ahead, they will need a nanny—or more—just to keep up with the demands of caring for three newborns alongside Grace, while also working full-time to stay afloat financially.
On top of this, Maggie’s future medical needs remain unknown, and the uncertainty is incredibly tough. Our family is supporting them as much as possible, but the road ahead is more than we can manage alone.
Louise is a dedicated community nurse, and Ste is a hardworking electrician (yes, he’s a pommie, but we love him all the same). They have always given their all to their family, their work, and their community - but now it’s our turn to show up for them.
We are asking for your help to ease some of the financial pressure so Louise and Ste can focus on what matters most: giving their daughters Ada, Lillie, Maggie, and Grace the best care, love, and stability possible during this incredibly challenging time.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a huge difference. Thank you for taking the time to read their story, and for supporting a beautiful family doing their very best under extraordinary circumstances.
Louise and Ste have also mentioned that they would love to give back to the incredible nursing staff and doctors at Randwick and Wollongong NICU units, so any extra funds will be donated directly there.
