Baby Burro Stormy

Mustang Mania Trainers and friends... I have very sad news one of our 2020 trainers could really use our help. Teresa Sneider adopted and trained 2 burros for our July TIP Challenge Sandy and Dino. Dino was rehomed at the event and Sandy stayed with Teresa. Sandy was in foal and baby burro Stormy was born Aug 18th, 2020.. unknowingly Sandy was suffering from Selenium deficiency or white muscle disease,
Sandy passed On October 20, 2020.
Leaving behind Stormy making her an orphan at only 2 months old. Well, Stormy was also suffering with the same symptoms. Nov 23, 2020 Stormy was admitted to Idaho Equine Hospital where she spent the last 16 days fighting for her little life she was released Dec. 8th, 2020 To say the vet bills added up quickly is an understatement. Her after care will be very expensive and tiresome as she needs to be fed hourly, she can walk a little more but needs Teresa to help her up. She needs to be kept warm and will be living in a heated barn and traveling to and from work with Teresa each day. She is a dog groomer and luckily has this ability to take her with her. We visited them today and seriously brought tears to my eyes to see this little love and her will to survive. She's a fighter!! Her medical bills are already at
$4094.00 and will continue to add up as she will need to go back frequently to be checked. If anyone can find a little holiday spirit and help get this vet bill paid it would be an amazing gift for Baby Burro Stormy and Teresa.
