Baby Andrew's Gravestone

Our son Canyon Christopher Andrew was born on March 11, 2017 - four months before he was due. His mortal life on this earth was brief and tender, and we buried our precious angel's tiny body on March 16, 2017.

The last few months we have chosen to deal with this unexpected tragedy privately and have only shared our story with family and a handful of close friends. But today is our little guy's due date. We realize that if Canyon had stayed on this earth we would be shouting with joy wanting everyone who is a part of our lives to rejoice with us. We know that he would have been loved by many. And because of this we want to keep his memory alive and make sure that our son is real to more than just ourselves.

Some dear friends brought to our attention that there are many people who want to support us through this difficult time and recommended we start a GoFundMe page. Due to our parental pride, we have felt like we should independently pay for the expenses (including burial fees and a headstone). But because of the acts of kindness we've recieved lately we have humbly realized we would gladly receive any assistance given. We love the thought of his headstone being the product of love from all those who would have cherished him, rather than just a stone bought from our savings account. We don't want anyone to feel the pressure of needing to donate to us, however, we want to open the opportunity for our loved ones to be a part of Canyon's journey.

We are proud parents and want our friends and family to know that Canyon lived, he is loved, and he is cheering us all on from the other side.
