Baby Acorn Jones' Medical Expenses

Hello my name is Stephanie Franklin. My sister, April Jones and her husband Andrew welcomed a beautiful little girl to their family on July 6 at 10 am. This little bundle of joy hasn't received a name just yet, but our family has affectionately nicknamed her "Acorn" for the time being. Baby Acorn had a difficult time coming into this world. She was breech and when the doctor tried to turn her it caused the placenta to tear, leaving little Acorn without oxygen and creating the need for an emergency c-section.

At first Acorn seemed to be thriving. She is a beautiful little girl with a full head of hair that her whole family fell instantly in love with.


But a few days after she was born Acorn started having seizures. The doctors are unsure what is causing the seizures, and she was transferred in an ambulance, with her father accompanying her, to the children's hospital.

This transfer is going to be difficult for April because she is recovering from her unplanned surgery. And it's also keeping her from being able to do any work as a Real Estate agent for the time being.
