Saving Zion!

Donation protected
You may have seen us promote our niece's jewelry shop to help raise money for Zion, our nephew who has autism. Zoë, our niece, does a great job with her business, but not everyone wants to buy jewelry. Therefore, we are starting this GoFundMe page to help out our sister and her family with Zion's ABA therapy expenses, to help pay for an expensive additional yearly insurance policy she carries because her work insurance doesn't cover a full year of his school, and to relieve the pressure of other expenses related to raising a child with autism on a single-parent income.

Zion also lost his Social Security Income this year, which wiped out a huge chunk of monthly income that helped take care of his needs. Angie, our sister, is still working with the Social Security Administration to get Zion reinstated, but to say the least, it's been a big hit. To add to that shock, the kids’ father hasn't been paying child support. He is $10,000+ behind on support/medical bills and has basically disappeared from the face of the earth.

Please consider helping out our nephew and the family with any donation.

If you'd like to read some insight into Zion’s life, Angie writes a brilliant blog. You can find it here: http://zoesstarfish.com.

Please share this fundraising effort with your friends and family. We'd love to meet and exceed the goal we have set to really put Zion and the family at an advantage.

Thank you ahead of time for your thoughts, prayers, donations, and care.
