Manfredo Barrios Park Bench Memorial

This fundraiser is in honor of Manfredo Barrios, who passed away suddenly on June 26th, 2014.  Manfredo was a kind, gentle hearted, dedicated and loving father and husband.  19 years ago he and his wife Silvia purchased their home intentionally across the street from Seeman Park in Golden Valley -- sights set on one thing, the tennis courts.  Manfredo called the tennis courts his 'second home' and he could be seen on any given day playing with his sons and tennis friends.  Everyone who knew Manfredo knows that tennis was one of the cornerstones of his life.  The money raised here will go towards purchasing a bench that will be installed at Seeman Park, with a bronze plaque honoring Manfredo.  This bench will be a beautiful tribute to Manfredo and something that will be comforting to his family and friends for years to come.  The City of Golden Valley is happy to have a bench at the park where others can rest their tired feet and enjoy the sunshine just as Manfredo would do.  Please consider any size donation and also pass this link along to those who might also be interested in donating.
