Mayo Clinic Trip. Finding The Answer

Donation protected
2 years ago my wife Shannon had been having on going stomach issues. last year going through several doctors, they finally had the diagnosis--Celiac. It, for the most part is a contained struggle.

In December of 2013 she had a Grand Mal seizure that lasted 3 minutes and was hospitalized.
She has had EEG, CT Scan, and a Heart Cath.
They can not do an MRI because she has a neuro stimulator in her body that was placed inside her long ago.
The only diagnosis they could come up with was Non Epileptic Seizures.

She takes an anti convulsant prescribed to her from her neurologist.

She is still having partial seizures and her energy level is nothing like it used to be---all this while still continuing to work as a nurse.

Her last partial seizure was June 28th and had two additional partial seizures that weekend.

We went back to our primary care physician and he said we were not getting any answers and seemed as though we are back to square one. He stated that we need to make an appt. (which we did) with Mayo Clinic, in Scottsdale AZ.

She is scheduled to be there Aug 3 through the eighth of this year. So time is of the esscence

We simply can not gather enough funds up for the gas and hotel stays for the amount of time she has to be there.

I have never done anything like this, (asking for help) but I cant sit around hoping this will go away and let my pride get in the way.

We ask for your help.

No amount is too small.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
