Oakley

Hello friends,

I've never done this before but I felt the need to reach out to all of you for some help.
As most of you know I am a animal lover and I would do just about anything for them. Unfortunately in the early hours of this past Monday, my close friends dog, Oakley got away from her. Whether she got startled or any other reason, she decided to run. The problem is, she decided to run up the ramp on Webster Ave on to the highway. Although I don't know exactly what happened, she is still with all of us. Oakley did not come out of this unscathed, she lost her right leg in the incident. She had surgery Tuesday and is resting comfortably at home with her mom and dad.
That being said, as most know vet bills add up quick and it's no fun seeing the balance once everything is done. Rachel and Gerrit have been my friends for a long time, and I thought it was appropriate to reach out to all of you and ask for some help. I know I would appreciate it, I know that Rachel and Gerrit would as well. Most importantly Oakley is still here and I know she would appreciate it too.
