"The kindest man you'd ever meet" were the words uttered by the daughter of Curtis Temes who remains faithful as her father fights to make a full recovery at a Memphis hospital. On August 14th, Curtis became the victim of a senseless robbery and shooting while working to help a local church make some minor repairs.
During the robbery, Curtis was shot in the abdomen, and the bullet traveled through his intestines, thus causing severe damage which will require extensive surgeries and hospital stays -- plus a long road to recovery.
Curtis is a devoted family man who loves spending time with his family - including wife and two daughters. Curtis has served as a funeral director in the City of Memphis for 30+ years and was planning to settle into retirement. Curtis loves music and is the manager of a small R&B band.
