Fall Internship

A couple months ago I applied for an internship for an organization called Abide Family Center in Uganda. Their purpose is to help families stay together and to keep kids out of orphanages. They offer child development and social work.
My whole life I have known I was going to be a teacher until earlier this year when I decided to change my career path to working with children outside of the school; whether it'd be social work, mental health, juvenile justice, etc.
I didn't get the internship and I was okay with that because I got accepted to SFSU and they offer an amazing program (CAD). I was set to go but some things came up and I have to finish one more class at AVC before attending any university. This was upsetting at first because it holds me back a year with my education. I tried to change the hold over and over again but there was no possible way I could go. I soon realized I was okay with my circumstances because God has His reasons for me not going just yet. ❤️
Yesterday, July 7th, I received an email that one intern had decided not to go and they offered me a spot. The internship would be from September to December.
Because this is last minute, financially I can't afford it. It's going to cost around
4,000 for me to go.
I'm going to be doing whatever I can to raise money within these next weeks because I have to purchase a ticket as soon as possible. Whether it's car washes, garage sales, babysitting, anything; It can be done because I know He can do it and if this is where He is placing me, that is where I'll be.

And if you could please pray for and with me that this is where God is placing me at this time in my life. I know His plans are perfect and everything is under control no matter what happens. ❤️
