Alex's Emergency Cancer Fund
Donation protected
This is my cousin Alex with his two little ones Eva and Ethan.
Last Friday on March 20, 2015, four days after turning 30, my cousin found out he has non-Hodgkins Lymphoma which is a type of cancer that originates in the lymphatic system--the system meant to help fight against disease.
This is devastating news for us, and for me. I grew up with him, he's like my older brother. And I can't imagine how scared my cousin must feel. But we're very hopeful that he will live a long life to see his son and daughter grow up into wonderful, silly, loving people like their dad.
Right now he's early in his prognosis. My family is working on finding him the right facility so he can get the proper treatment he needs. We don't know how much it will cost. And as a family it is our job to help him while he's going through this.
We're asking for some support during this time so he can focus on his treatment and not on his bills. Stressing over financial matters complicates treatment of any disease but especially cancer.
We're very thankful for anything that you can give and we're especially thankful for encouraging stories or supportive words for my cousin and our family. Pass it along to your friends and family if you think that will help too. And as always, we will pay this forward.
I'll keep you updated as much as possible.
Thank you for your support,
Danicia
