John 14:1-3 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
It is with peace in our hearts that we announce the passing of 2 of our Beloved family members this holiday weekend.
First our Aunt Elena J. Hernandez who was known for her amazing cooking, holiday gatherings, & singing, For her beautiful garden and for being a second mother figure to me and my siblings. Her support and her opinion (which she was happy to give) made a difference in many lives and will continue to.
And finally, my 2-1/2 week old nephew, Ruben Xavier Parker. This beautiful baby boy was born 4 months early and fought for his life. If you ask his parents, Robert & Candy, he was their little hero. To my sister Candy, stay strong in your FAITH and you will see him again. I love you.
