Missions Trip to Africa (Mozambique)

It is by gratitude and humility to share that God has called me to and opened the door for me to go to Africa on a missions trip from October 1-December 4, 2014 with Iris Ministries. (for more info on this ministry, please visit their website at http://www.irisglobal.org/)
Some of the things I will be doing there are: going to school Monday-Thursday from 8a-1p to learn more about God working in another country; visiting orphanages; traveling to different villages to share the love & hope of Jesus Christ; bringing supplies such as pencils, notebooks, etc.; and different missionary work (there is SO much opportunity!).
I need to raise $4,500 by August 25th. It includes the cost of school, food, board, and some airfare. (The school & board costs $3,000 and a ticket to Africa costs anywhere between $2,800-$3,500).
I was able to save up $1,500 in less than a year...and I really need help for the rest. I received my acceptance letter July 1st of this year so this is why I've started asking for donations this late. I really need a miracle.
