Kelley Walker and her 18 month old daughter, Zoe, we're tragically struck by a car July 4th, 2014.
Kelley received a majority of the impact from the Jeep and was violently flung approximately 80 feet which resulted with Kelley barely clinging to life. Zoe was rushed to a children's hospital with minor injuries while Kelley was sent to a different hospital in critical condition. Kelley lost her pulse and the medical team was able to revive her. She suffered internal bleeding, fractures, significant blood loss, and head trauma/brain injury.
Kelley is currently in a medically induced coma and her hospital stay is estimated at months.
Her family and friends are uniting to raise money for the medical expenses since Kelley does not have health insurance.
The care that Kelley requires is necessary to keep her alive and with the power of community, prayer, and generosity, we believe Kelley will be able to fully recover.
