Skin Salvage Surgery

This is a photo of me about 25 years ago-when I was young, healthy, and and had the whole world ahead of me.
I'm raising money for an upcoming bariatric surgery that will improve my life in many ways. Recently I've been diagnosed with various medical conditions and my health has started failing. After discussions with my various health providers, it was thought that bariatric surgery would be a good option. My health insurance does not cover this surgery so I have to pay out of pocket for all of it. I have the surgeon and facility chosen and have started doing all the needed testing to prepare for the surgery. I've started following a new eating pattern and a regular program of therapy to ready myself for after surgery life. I know this is a major step towards a healthy and active lifestyle. My goal is to move forward in my healing journey to reclaim that healthy active vibrant young woman who had the world in her hands as seen in the photo above.
