200 miles to save grandma

My grandma Nancy Adams has cancer and to help raise awareness and raise money for her and for cancer cure research and treatment I will be running 200 miles from Fort Washington Maryland to Hampton Virginia. I will be funding the run myself and I will be followed by a support vehicle for safety and to record the event. Please help me raise money for my grandma. Every dollar helps. She has squamous carcinoma and has already begun radiation therapy. She has seen doctors at both Hampton and Georgetown and they have all agreed that chemotherapy and surgery will not be an option because of her age (76) and her current condition. That being said the doctors have given her 2 years if the treatments are a success. With prayer and God's will we hope to have her around alot longer. The money raised will go to not only help with health care but since my grandmother has no retirement and depends on her social security for survival, I would like to use some of the money to give her some kind of support and help her pay her rent and utilities. Up until the treatment started she worked as a CNA ( certified nurses assistant) now that she can no longer find work and wouldn't be able to work even if she did get hired, she's going to need some help. My grandpa owned a business (Adams lock &key, Maryland lockmasters, and the Lone pine restaurant) he passed away in 2003 and despite 2 of the hardest working people I've ever met ( Ralph J. Adams and Nancy L. Adams) he died owing money and left my grandmother here without any inheritance. I made a promise to my pop pop on his death bed that I would do whatever I could to help my grandma and that is exactly what i have done every chance I got since he passed. This problem however is much larger than what I can fix alone. She will need Gods help and your help to be able to survive. I am hoping the 200 mile run will raise awareness and drum up support from those who may otherwise not be interested in donating. My health, my bodie, and my support is all I have to give now. I pray that those who find this page will have compasion and help me help my grandma. The run will start the morning of september 19th and will continue until I get to my grandmas house 200 miles away.
