AAU Girls Basketball Fundraiser

We are WORCESTER PAY IT FORWARD (PIF), Inc/Sting Elite, a non-profit AAU basketball team who is looking to take our 6th and 9th grade girls teams to compete in the JULY SUMMER SLAM. This is a National tournament in Ocean City, MD, on July 25th-29th.
Worcester PIF, Inc. is a non-profit sports organization, providing programming that fosters positive youth development and promotes leadership, and sportsmanship. Worcester PIF has provided more than a thousand kids with the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of basketball while developing their team and individual skills.
We are in need of your donations for travel, food and
accommodations.
We are looking to provide these inner city 6th & 9th grade girls the opportunity to TRAVEL beyond the state of Massachusetts and EXPERIENCE the chance to compete against some of the elite teams in the country. These girls have worked extremely hard during the past 6 months and won championships at local tournaments while building bonds of friendship and creating memories.
What makes these girls unique is the MENTORING PROGRAM that Worcester PIF created and implemented. Each of the 9th grade girls was assigned the designated mentor to a girl on the 6th grade team. Their commitment to mentoring the younger girls on and off the court was instrumental during the games and in their personal lives.

This opportunity will not only provide them a chance at competing against top teams, but will allow these girls to travel together and further their bond and promote positivity by leadership and growth in our community....
