Starting Over!!!

A lot has happened over the last 72 hours! On Friday, May 19th I was evicted from my home of 23 years and we were given 5 minutes to grab what we could and everything else was thrown out. I managed to put a large amount of things in storage but I wasn’t able to get everything and lost most of mine and my daughter’s clothing, personal items, my desk, filming equipment, and some other items that were very important to my daughter. I was fortunate enough that my neighbor, who had been my neighbor the last 15 years, along with a church friend helped me get a room at a local Inn for the weekend and a few other friends helped see that we had food but needless to say, I’m essentially starting over again and to say that this hurts would be an understatement. Anything anyone can help us with would be greatly appreciated. I will try to maintain my content as much as humanly possible, if for no other reason than I need the distraction and to keep from completely breaking down. If you’re not able to help with anything, prayers are just as helpful and very much appreciated. Love you all! Stay Blessed!

Update: I have edited my goal due to the reality that the resources in the state of Maryland for those who suddenly find themselves homeless are not what they are advertised to be. I have gotten the run around on so many supposed options there are for me and my daughter to have somewhere to stay which has resulted in us remaining in the hotel we are in (which is the cheapest I’ve found in this area that provides a sense of some safety). As I am still seeking out all available resources I still need any amount of help you can extend to us. Of course, I am also in need of all of the prayers and good energy everyone is sending our way as well. Thank you again for your continued support. I am very grateful and it is very much appreciated.
