Kerala Flood Relief

Kerala is facing its worst flood in 100 years. 80 dams opened, 324 lives lost and 223139 people are in about 1500+ relief camps. This is Krishna's home state: a place and people near and dear to our hearts and we are compelled to help in any way we can. Thankfully, none of his immediate family is affected directly and they are all safe.

Krishna's alumni group in Trivandrum from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum (CET) are on the ground purchasing food, supplies and medicine and donating these items directly to organizations that are delivering them to areas hardest hit. Krishna is traveling to Trivandrum in 2 weeks and intends to assist in this effort.

We know there are many ways you all give generously to alleviate suffering in the world; but if this touches your heart and you feel compelled to help, the money collected from this fund will be used to directly assist those affected by this disaster.

Typical donations are $5-$10. Our goal is to reach $500, which we will personally match for a total of $1,000 in relief. Upon his return, Krishna and I will contact everyone who donated and let you know how your donations helped those in need.

Our sincere gratitude for your consideration.
