Hi,

This is Kev. A 57-year-old man, who until recently was living and working hard in Spain as a self-employed builder.

On January 8th 2024, Kev suffered a stroke.

He was hospitalized for a week before being discharged home where he lives alone.

Although he is making remarkable progress with his recovery, Spanish law forbids him to drive for at least 6 months, when he will need to be cleared by his doctor and then pass a medical in order to drive again. As a result of this, and the fact that his speech has been affected, he is now unable to work.

He will receive some government aid at the end of February 2024, but this will not be enough to pay his living costs.

His friends are hoping to raise enough money for him to be able to stay in his own home the next 6 months, when we are all confident that he will return to work.

We all know that he would do the same for us.

We know times are tough everywhere, but please give anything you can.
