Ada Memorial/Celebration of Life!

My name is Ada Baranello Gonzalez. I am a mother of 3 kids I love with all my heart and more; I am also a wife, daughter, and sister. I am struggling and battling my very rare disease called Idiopathic Pulmonary Hemosidersosis. This disease has caused pulmonary fibrosis in my lungs, which in turn has now caused pulmonary hypertension which is affecting my heart. Since November of 2013 my health has rapidly become worse and now the doctors say I will need a lung transplant. I never understood how serious a lung transplant was until I was faced with it. I always thought it was going to be smooth sailing, a new pair of lungs, and then you are ready to go! Of course it is not that easy. I now face not being able to work and continue upward movement in my career which I was enjoying so much and facing a huge financial burden which in truth even as I type about it now is hard for me to admit. I am scared of the surgery itself but most of all I am scared of becoming a burden to anyone in my family, even to my children. I hope this works, not sure if it will but I will be grateful for anything I should receive.
