Help Jamison get more independence

Hi, my name is Jamison Currie and I'm raising money to help me get more independent.  I would love it if you would help me raise money to get this device called the Rollick Firefly.  It's a device that will attach onto the front of my wheelchair and pretty much turn my wheelchair into a power chair, without the expense and weight of a normal power chair.  The Firefly only weighs about 24 pounds so I won't need to worry about getting any modifications done to my parents van.

I have a disease called Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome and I'm unable to walk or run like the rest of my family.  I use a manual wheelchair for all of my mobility.  Most of the time I am able to wheel myself where I need to get to like at school or in the store.  But, there are just so many places I can't go on my own like our local shopping mall - they've got carpeting and my wheels sink easily - someone has to push me.

I would love to be able to go more places with my family like on bike rides but some times its just not that easy because my dad usually has to drag me behind his bike in a trailer.  Well, dragging my 105 pounds isn't always easy especially with all the hills we have around here.  Once we get where we're going then I'm still stuck in the trailer and can't go anywhere because my wheelchair is back at home.


All of the money I am raising will go toward purchasing the Firefly and getting some foam inserts for my tires so I don't have to worry about getting flats.  Because if I'm going to be going more places I don't have the dexterity or the ability to change flat tires until my dad gets home.

So, can you please help me?  I will love you long time if you do.
