Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
My family and I are fundraising in order to build a madrasah on behalf of both of my late grandparents (Azzizun Nessa and Haji Mokbul Hussain) who have both recently passed away within months of one another.
This madrasah will aim to educate young boys who find themselves stuck in some of Bangladesh’s most poverty stricken & neglected areas, with the madrasah’s main focus being placed on the memorisation of the Holy Quran.
The money raised will go towards the building of the madrasah in the Moulvibazar District of Bangladesh, while the general upkeeping of the madrasah will be maintained by me and my family insha’Allah.
This madrasah will allow for these boys to escape from the brutal cycle of poverty and allow them to learn the beauty of their religion.
We will be specifically targeting orphans and those who would not necessarily be able to access these basic opportunities that should be available to every single child.
Every donation/sharing of this fundraiser will help us to reach our goal & allow us to create this beautiful project on behalf of my late grandparents, and insha’Allah will benefit everyone who participates in building this madrasah, and remember, no donation is too small! May Allah accept all our efforts, Ameen.
Sa’d ibn Abu Waqqas narrated that Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said, “…whatever you spend (for Allah’s sake) you will be rewarded for it, even for a morsel of food which you may put in the mouth of your wife.” (Bukhari, Vol. 8, Hadith 725; Vol.1, Hadith 53).
