…Just one of the latest updates from the Town of Pierson in their fight against the Great Flood of 2014.
Pierson is a small, but great, farming community of approximately 200 people located in the Southwest corner of Manitoba…and my hometown. Pierson is one of the MANY communities affected by the overland flooding of 2014 and located in one of the 31 municipalities in the area whose residents were forced to evacuate after declaring a state of emergency.
I am setting up this donation page to help the residents of Pierson and surrounding areas to not only manage the current effects of the flooding but also in an attempt to assist with the many challenges they will face in the coming weeks and months.
I know any amount you can donate will be appreciated and put to great use by the residents of this wonderful town.
