34 days in a hospital beginning on September 20........he has now been at UT Southwestern Medical Center Dallas for 9 days. We are thankful for the smile he shows in this picture.
And so very blessed, thankful, grateful and overwhelmed by you generosity and help. Our hearts are overflowing....

Over the last few months, Scott had not been feeling well and had been shuttled to multiple specialists with no relief or diagnosis in sight.
Ultimately he was admitted to the Emergency Room where he spent 2 full weeks in the hospital as they tried to uncover what was going on. Test after test after test ...and all we know is he is suffering from some mysterious autoimmune disease that is attacking his own body.
He was transferred to a Skilled Nursing Facility - where he is learning to stand, to walk, strengthen his body, use utensils and many many more day to day activities that so many of us take for granted. He is battling constant pain and the unknown of a specific diagnosis. He has been in this facility for 10 days.
We do not know what the future holds or what the new normal will look like for Scott. This will be a long uphill battle and we are so very grateful for all of our friends and family that have been there for us.
These funds will help with the mounting medical bills, allow more time in the skilled nursing facility, and alleviate his stress while he focuses on healing his body.
