Querida familia y amigos,

Les escribimos ya que nuestra querida María José (mi hermana) está pasando por un período muy desafiante. Es un período lleno de miedo, estrés y tristeza, pero también de esperanza y entusiasmo por la posibilidad de curación y regeneración. Como muchos de ustedes saben, María José, de tan solo 36 años, fue diagnosticada con una forma muy agresiva de cáncer de mama. Ha recibido terapia neoadyuvante, tratamiento quirúrgico y ahora está recibiendo radioterapia. Sin embargo, para optimizar sus posibilidades de remisión y curación, necesita someterse a quimioterapia con Verzenio (abemaciclib), que es muy costosa y no está cubierta por su seguro médico en Perú.

Estamos solicitando su ayuda para apoyar financieramente su terapia. Al igual que ustedes, queremos a María José y esperamos que juntos podamos brindarle el apoyo financiero que necesita para su tratamiento y aliviar este estrés añadido. Somos muchos los que trabajamos por este mismo objetivo. Si muchos de nosotros participamos, solo se requerirá una pequeña contribución financiera de cada uno de nosotros. Hemos investigado ampliamente qué país ofrece el costo más asequible para este medicamento. Se espera que necesite terapia durante al menos dos años, un total de $45,600

Dear family and friends,

We write you as our beloved Maria Jose (my sister) is going through a very challenging period. It is full of fear, stress, and sadness, but also hope and excitement for the possibility of cure and regeneration. As many of you know, Maria Jose, who is only 36 years old, was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer. She has received neoadjuvant therapy, surgical treatment, and is undergoing radiation therapy now. However, in order to optimize her chances of remission and cure, she needs to undergo chemotherapy with Verzenio (abemaciclib), which is very expensive, and is not covered by insurance in Peru.

We are soliciting your assistance to help financially support her therapy. As you do, we love Maria Jose, and hope that together, we can provide her with the financial support she needs for her treatment, and alleviate this stress for her. There are many of us working towards this same goal. If many of us participate, it will require only a small financial contribution from each of us. We have widely researched which country offers the most affordable cost for this medication.  She is expected to need therapy for at least two years, a total of $45,600.
