Ayudemos a Lucas a salir de la burbuja SCID

Hola! Somos Karina Gil y Rose Arce, estamos casadas y juntas quisimos cumplir el sueño de ser mamás y hoy tenemos a nuestro pequeño Lucas Gael de 1 mes y medio con nosotras.

Lucas nació después de realizarnos un tratamiento de fecundación in vitro que no pensamos nunca que nos traería a esta historia.

Lucas fue diagnosticado con una inmunodeficiencia combinada severa o SCID, también conocida como niños burbujas, su organismos no son capaces de producir defensas por lo que un simple resfriado lo ha tenido por casi un mes en hospitalización necesitando oxígeno y en completo aislamiento.

Nuestro hijo necesita un transplante de médula ósea para poder ayudarlo a restaurar esa falla genética con la que nació, no contamos con los recursos para el tratamiento de alto costo en Chile, es por eso que les pedimos ayuda para sacar a nuestro pequeño de esta burbuja y que pueda vivir una vida normal y plena.

Lucas was born after undergoing an in vitro fertilization treatment that we never thought would bring us to this story.
