Ayuda para el corazón de Sebas

ESPAÑOL:

Hola, soy Sebastián Briceño Carrillo y nací el 17 de Mayo de 2017 en un Hospital de Caracas en Venezuela. Toda mi familia se emocionó mucho con mi llegada, incluso en mi nacimiento a pesar de tener poco peso no presenté situaciones peligrosas,  pero 24 horas después de nacer encontraron que tengo problemas en mi pequeño corazón.

En palabras de los médicos padezco de:
·         una cardiopatía congénita,

·         hipoplasia del ventrículo derecho con CIV,

·         atresia pulmonar, atresia tricuspídea,

·         ductus arterioso restrictivo con hipoplasia de tronco pulmonar

Así que he pasado mis primeros días de vida luchando para sobrevivir.

Quienes me conocen saben que soy muy valiente porque en mi país no tengo opciones médicas de calidad cada día los impresiono más aferrándome a la vida.  Por problemas políticos, sociales y económicos en Venezuela no hay insumos, medicinas o especialistas de cardiología infantil que puedan tratar mi caso pues ellos también se han tenido que ir de Venezuela.

Mi situación es urgente porque además de demostrar que sin atenciones adecuadas y  sin la fórmula alimenticia que requiero sigo viviendo, los doctores que me han podido ver opinan que tengo que operarme en un tiempo máximo de 30 días pero tengo que prepararme con un buen tratamiento y equipos médicos para estabilizar mi sistema y resistir la operación que me otorgaría la posibilidad de tener una válvula nueva en mi corazón. En el hospital que me encuentro me dicen que tengo que irme inmediatamente a un hospital cardiológico infantil especializado, pero la única manera que encontraron mis familiares es sacándome del país y llevándome a un lugar donde tenga la posibilidad de seguir luchando por mi vida.

De momento me abren una oportunidad en Colombia para vivir, solo hemos colocado un monto objetivo (35.000€) para cubrir mis primeros tratamientos e intervenciones en el hospital con el fin de prepararme para mi futura operación de válvula en el corazón, y también los mi familia vienen conmigo a acompañarme en esta carrera contra el tiempo.  Los doctores han dicho a mis padres que necesitaré diversas cirugías durante mis dos primeros años de vida como mínimo.

Necesito decirte con todas mis fuerzas que tu ayuda me puede hacer vivir y con ella quizás yo pueda mantenerme estable para un futuro que imagino feliz en casa con mis padres y mi hermano mayor que también me está esperando.

Mi familia te agradecerá esta ayuda toda la vida y yo nunca olvidaré que gracias a ti mis padres podrán dormir una vez más con tranquilidad.

Hi! I’m Sebastian Briceño Carrillo and I was born on May 17th 2017 in Caracas – Venezuela. My family was really happy with my arrival and although I was born prematurely I looked healthy as a horse, but 24 hour later they found problems in my little heart.
 
According to the doctors, I have a genetic heart disease:
·         pulmonary atresia, tricuspid atresia

·         right ventricular hypertrophy with VSD,

·         restrictive ductus arteriosus with pulmonary hypoplasia,

 So, for the first days of my life I’m been fighting to survive.

 Apparently I’m very brave, since they didn’t expected me to survive this far and to keep fighting considering that there are not medical options in my country to survive this.

 Due to Venezuela current social-political situation, we cannot find the meds I need or the specialist doctors who could safe me, because they have left the country looking for better opportunities.

My situation is critical, regardless of me being still alive without the required medical attentions and without the baby formula I need, the doctors believe that I need surgery in the next 30 days at the most, which can only happen if I’m in good hands to get the correct treatments to stabilize me and to make me strong enough to survive the surgery, which will give me new valve for my heart.

The recommendation is going to a hospital specialize in Child Cardiology, but after searching the options in Venezuela, it seems like we have to go abroad.

Lucky enough, Colombia has offer us an option at the Fundación Cariovascular de Colombia (Colombia Cardiovascular foundation) and we have set up a goal (35.000€) to cover the first treatments and surgeries that will prepare me for the heart valve surgery, and the cost of living for my family who needs to be with me in this race against time.

This would be the first step for a long-distance race, which would allow the doctors to evaluate the following steps to fix my little heart. The doctors said to my parents that I will need several surgeries during my first two years of life.

With all my heart I would like to tell you that your help may help me survive, and with your help I may be stable enough to have a happy future at home with Mom, Dad and my big brother who is waiting for me so badly.
 
My family will be thankful to you all my life, I will never forget that thanks to you my parents will be able to sleep again with hope in their hearts.
