Ayuda a Zulma a ganar la batalla contra el cáncer

During 2020, Zulma, our mother, began to feel certain signs of something wrong hapening in her breasts, showing manifestations and lumps when palpated, she knew at that moment that it was time for an exam. Unfortunately, the pandemic arrived at the same time and for almost a year they refused to give her appointments in hospitals due to the priority that Covid treatment had that time, having taken the oncology floors and other specialties only to treat that virus. Towards the end of 2020, with a lot of pain in her breasts and worrying phisical signs, they agreed to receive her and do the respective examinations and analyzes on her. Throughout that year, unfortunately she was out of work and living practically on her savings.

Zulma was diagnosed with breast cancer, in both breasts, and with compromised armpit nodes. Her treatment is one of the most intense and extensive, as she must spend a few months receiving chemotherapy treatment, and then undergo aggressive surgery on both breasts, and later a stage of radiotherapy. She has started chemotherapies at the beginning of this year 2021. Me and my brother, her two children, have been supporting her with all our possibilities. However, as the treatment progresses, we see that the needs are greater and greater, as well as the costs of sustaining and accompanying a treatment of this type in a country like Peru, where medical care is very expensive and public health system doesnt cover much of treatments like this one.

All these procedures are accompanied by medical examinations, analyzes, additional medications and complementary treatments that do not have in the hospital where she is treated as well, so they mean a very large additional cost for her and unfortunately we have all been so affected with the pandemic that we no longer have savings to be able to sustain this burden that comes along with this type of treatment.

Therefore, we feel that it is time to stop doing this alone and make it work joining the strenth and support of many people who cares for Zulma and oue family.  She completely deserves our help,  she has been an extremely dedicated and hardworking woman and single mother all her life. Now she needs us and deserves to receive all the support we can give to her, to win this battle and dedicate the rest of her life to being happy, to fulfilling her own dreams. This time she deserves that we take care of her, just as she has always been so aware of other people. This time, she deserves to keep dreaming and visualize her dreams coming true, ending this difficult chapter in her life.

We know that she deserves all the support and help that you are going to be able to give her, like a grain of sand, everything adds up, everything counts. From now on, we are extremely grateful! All together, with Zulma!

Durante el 2020, Zulma, nuestra madre, empezó a sentir ciertas señales en sus senos, tanto manifestaciones físicas como bultos al palparse, supo en ese momento que era hora de hacerse un examen. Lamentablemente a la par llegó la pandemia y durante casi un año se negaron a darle citas  en los hospitales por la prioridad que tuvo el tratamiento Covid ese tiempo, habiendo tomado los pisos oncológicos y de otras especialidades solo para atender ese virus.  Hacia finales del 2020, con mucho dolor en los pechos y señales preocupantes, aceptaron atenderla y hacerle los exámenes y análisis respectivos. Durante todo ese año, lamentablemente ella estuvo sin trabajo y viviendo prácticamente de sus ahorros. 

Zulma fue diagnosticada con cáncer de mama, en ambos senos, y con ganglios de axila comprometidos. Su tratamiento es de los más intensos y extensos, pues debe pasar unos meses recibiendo tratamiento de quimioterapia, para después pasar por cirugía agresiva en ambos senos, y posteriormente una etapa de radioterapia. Ha iniciado quimioterapias a inicios de este año 2021, sus dos hijos hemos estado apoyándola con todas nuestras posibilidades. Sin embargo, a medida que avanza el tratamiento, vemos que las necesidades son más y más grandes, así como los costos de sostener y acompañar un tratamiento de este tipo.

Todos estos procedimientos, vienen acompañados de exámenes médicos, análisis, medicamentos adicionales y tratamientos complementarios con los que no cuentan en el hospital donde ella se trata, por lo que significan un costo bastante grande para ella y lamentablemente todos nos hemos visto tan afectados con la pandemia que ya no contamos con ahorros para poder sostener esta carga que viene junto con este tipo de tratamientos.

Por ello, sentimos que es hora de unir fuerzas por Zulma y sumar todo el apoyo que cada uno de ustedes le pueda dar a quien ha sido una mujer y madre soltera sumamente dedicada y trabajadora toda su vida. Ahora ella nos necesita y merece recibir todo el apoyo posible, para ganar esta batalla y dedicar el resto de su vida a ser feliz, a cumplir sus propios sueños. Esta vez ella merece que la cuidemos, así como ella ha estado tan pendiente de otras personas siempre. Esta vez, ella merece seguir soñando y visualizar sus sueños realizándose, terminando este capitulo difícil en su vida.

Sabemos que merece todo el apoyo y ayuda que tú le vas a poder brindar, como un granito de arena, todo suma, todo cuenta. Desde ya, estamos sumamente agradecidos ! Todos con Zulma!
