help eitan to have life

With lots of regrets in our hearts we inform you that my son has recently been diagnosed with cancer. His name is Eitan Abreu. He is only one years old and lives in the Dominican Republic. On January 28 his life and my family's life changed forever. On that day we learned that Eitan had a tumor in his head. After several days of medical examinations, the doctor's finally gave the full report of Eitan's condition to the family which was that the tumor is malignant and it is called MEDULOBLASTOMA. It is stage four cancer. Eventually only part of the tumor was removed. The doctors removed only a part of the tumor because it could not be completely removed, since it is located in a delicate part that controls functions, such as speech, breathing, mobility, and so on. One of the first symtoms we noticed that Eitan had was the loss of speech. Eitan became unable to express words or sounds. A a result of the tumor, he has also acquired respiratory problems of which he has undergone two surgeries, a tracheostomy and a thoracic one. Currently, he is on a ventilator because he still cannot breathe with his own strength. The journey with Eitan has been long and hard. In addition to the previous symptoms that he has shown, Eitan has suffered three cardiac arrests. In one of the episodes he was unconscious for a little more than half an hour. That day he heard his mother's voice telling him that she loved him and to continue trusting in God because he was with him. Eitan continues to fight for his life so that he can be with his family that truly love him so much. We know that God is good and faithful and that even in the midst of the storm we trust in his plan. We hope to find help and peace in a hospital in the United States of America. The tumor is curable with chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant treatment that my country does not offer. In order to seek assistance in the United States we have to cover expenses that are from $ 500,000.00 to 1 million dollars and my family does not have the amount of money that is required. I know that God does all things for good, and I know that if it is his will he will open every door. This is my story and today I share it with you, because I want to ask you in the most humble way and with all my heart for your help so that Eitan can be treated outside the country. Also so he can smile again, play, cry and be heard, sing, dance, eat, and so that his mom and family can hold him again. In order for him to continue living and fighting, I need all the help I can get. May God bless you and I thank you with all my heart for every help that I receive from you today.
