Rachael and Glenn's Medical Relief Fund

In May 2014, Rachael was hospitalized and nearly died during a bout of Ketoacidosis due to complications with diabetes. We are so grateful that she was able to recover and is in much better health at this time, however, this left them owing quite a bit in medical bills after a weeklong stay at the hospital.
In another unfortunate turn of events, on Glenn’s 40th birthday, he broke his left knee and requires surgery which will take place July 16th, 2014. More medical bills await them in the future.
As we all know, medical debt can be crippling, and for two people who are trying to stay afloat paying off school loans, trying to keep their home, and other every day expenses in order and current finances were already challenging.
My hope and is to raise $10,000.00 that would pay off the current medical bills and also help get them by should Glenn have to miss any work during the process of healing his broken knee. These 2 people have hearts of gold and give everyone their best. Being muscians, they have donated their time and talent to numerous charitable efforts. My hope is to gift some of that kindness back to them as they are both wonderful people who really need a hand up during this rough patch.
The intention of these funds will be to assist Glenn and Rachael with mounting medical cost and loss of income, as Glenn may miss some work due to recovery time needed.
