Ayanna WE GOT YOUR BACK! BEAT CANCER!

hi, My name is Rachel I am setting up this fundraiser for Ayanna who is battling breast cancer. Ayanna is a single mother of 4 & a loved member of the Mtv Road Rules/ and the Challenge family.

She is a survivor of many things and we all know she will be strong and get through this next battle - we want to all give a little help to ease the burden and allow Ayanna to focus on her battle with breast cancer, her children, and allow her some rest.

Message from Ayanna:

In October of 2023 I was diagnosed with metastatic invasive ductal carcinoma (Breast Cancer) after getting a mammogram and biopsy. I also was a candidate for genetic testing , where I learned that I am a carrier of a Palb2 mutation on my BRCA gene. This is a hereditary and rare mutation that increases breast and ovarian cancer risk for its carriers. By the time I learned of my status it had metastasized to several lymph nodes; being a mom of four my life immediately shifted toward managing fighting this disease. Testing, multiple biopsies, consultations all coincided with managing the lives of my children and adapting to chemo, sleepless nights, weakened immune system, and truly fighting the fight with my closest co-workers , extended family, and friends. However for anyone who knows me I am normally the one to help versus asking for it. However assistance will ease the burden on my older children have been my right hand through all of this for the last 5 months .

Due to my slow reaction and response time , I am unable to drive safely at this time. We rely upon rideshare and other services for appointments and leverage it daily to ensure safe travel to and from school and medical appointments. This is expensive, but necessary as it has impacted our finances. I truly do appreciate any kindness that can come our way and will be forever grateful for the peace of mind as I prepare for surgery, followed by radiation. This is a marathon not a sprint , thank you for fighting the fight with us.

Any support received will go directly to covering basic housing expenses and caregiver costs while I am hospitalized. Again thank you for your consideration, generosity, and kindness toward our family of 5. My older children fight the good fight daily at their respective schools and on their academic and athletic teams; thank you for also easing their burden at this time.
