Congo's Medical Fund

I adopted Congo when he was 10 years young from Basenji Rescue and Transport in 2011. I knew that adopting an older dog would be hard because I wouldn't have a lot of time with him on this earth. But when I met him, it was meant to be. Congo had bounced around several homes and ended up being sold on Craigslist. He was reacused by a Basenji advocate and put into foster care.

I have watched him grow older and older. Lately I've noticed some changes in him. He's more tired and gets overwhelmed easily. He has an insatiable hunger and thirst. He's losing his hearing and his sight. Congo's hair is thinning and he has some bald spots.

The vet thinks it could be Cushings Disease, Hypothyroidism, Diabetes or Liver Disease. The testing to find out is going to be very expensive and I can't afford it. I want to give him the best life I can, but I need help.

Congo is an amazing Basenji and has been through a lot in his life. He deserves the best care and I'm going to try and get it for him. If you can help, I would be forever grateful. <3
