We need help with vet and electricity bills

We are 9 ratties and me Rebecca, their human mom. After a tough year in 2022 we now need help. We know that 2022 was hard for all of us. Extra to the crisis we are facing, Oma passed away. I was her care taker and my hole life was designated to Oma and that she was safe. Her passing left us in a big grief. Oma was our rock. She was a rat whisperer and her whole mood changed to happy when she was with the rats. Our family was since my mom died, Oma, the rats and me. Now the rats and my are left.

We have to handle everything alone. We have to move, I had to find a whole new life, and we need to empty Omas Apartment. Everything is and was crazy expensive. We are almost at the finish line and we are facing now to loose.

7 rats need vet care at the moment and with the higher costs also for vet visits, medicine and snacks we are struggling enormous at the moment.

Moony, our oldest is on hospice care when she can’t get surgery. She is 3 and still very strong. She is also called Queen Mumma Moony.

Rosie, Jill, Pixie and the boys (Flin and LilM) have respiratory infections. They are already in vet care and for a while the meds worked, but especially yesterday was horrible. After coming home I found LilM who is always greeting me, very cold in a corner. Luckily emergency care at home helped. He feels better but he isn’t over the hill.

Sophie also has a tumour. It’s still small and surgery should be easy. But it’s expensive.

To all the vet costs we now are also facing to have no electricity after a high yearly bill. I pay electricity for 2 apartments at the moment. Having no electricity risks the ratties life’s and makes it impossible for me to lern and work because I need the internet at home.

That’s why we are now asking for your help. We are very close to moving out of Omas Apartment and starting a normal life again.

I do everything for my rats. They are my family and without them I wouldn’t be sure if I would have survived Oma’s death.
