Anthony Plog: Contrasts for 5 Trumpets

Greetings!  The Eastman School of Music Trumpet Studio is proud to officially announce its trumpet ensemble commissioning project with world-renowned composer, trumpeter, and pedagogue, Anthony Plog.  The Eastman Trumpet Ensemble intends to premiere this new work, written for trumpet quintet, at the 2015 National Trumpet Competition at Messiah College in Mechanisburg, PA.

At this past year's National Competition, Eastman's trumpet quintet was fortunate enough to be named one of the nation's top collegiate-level trumpet ensembles.  In collaboration with Mr. Plog and Editions-Bim, these students are looking for significant ways in which to advance the trumpet ensemble and its repertoire.  However, we need YOUR help!  In order for this project to be completed and premiered as intended, we are in search of sponsors to help towards funding.  Any donations made will not only go towards benefitting the Eastman Trumpet Ensemble, but will also help in ensuring that this new work is brought into light.
