Hello, we are Meagan and Callie Stanley, two lovers of Classical Pilates and longtime students and friends of Karen Washburn, our beloved instructor and business owner of Axis Pilates and Gyrotonic. We have known Karen for close to 15 years and have watched the studio grow to what it is today--a community for those who value the work and its endless benefits to health and appreciate the integrity and commitment Karen, and all the instructors of Axis, bring to the space everyday.

Recently, Karen received the difficult news of a breast cancer diagnosis that will require treatment in the coming months. With many unknowns ahead, we are asking for funds to help support the business as Karen takes care of herself and her two children, Max and Chloe.

We are raising funds to help keep Axis afloat during this challenging time. Karen's pride in her business and love for her employees and patrons runs deep and we hope your donations will provide her with some peace of mind while she takes whatever time she needs to heal.
