Looking for funds to assist April with items to prepare for her upcoming double mastectomy surgery. Also expenses such as gas for getting to and from doctor's appointments, chemo, and radiation; money to pay for much needed supplements and medical supplies. As well as genetic testing her doctor suggested that her insurance is not paying for.
April was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in July of 2020 and is currently going through chemotherapy treatment. She will receive radiation therapy and hormone therapy after chemotherapy is done. She will also have a double mastectomy plus have parts of her chest wall removed with some lymph nodes removed as well after radiation.
April is a divorced mother of two teenage boys. She lives with friends who have been her caregivers since her diagnosis. She is a huge history nerd, a writer, blogger, and loves the beach.
