Help AJ: Shot By White Supremacist

Donation protected

On December 28, 2019 my dear friend, Adrian Jackson (AJ), was shot by a member of the Aryan Nation while delivering mail on his daily route in the Spring Branch area. After the assailant shot AJ he drove to the nearby I-10 Costco and shot an Asian man who worked there at the gas station. AJ was shot in his abdomen and spine, causing nearly fatal injuries that have left him permanently disabled.

AJ is currently living in a rehab center trying to regain his ability to walk. It has been very slow going although some progress is being made. Seems AJ’s story would have attracted a great deal of attention as the shooter, who had recently been released from prison, shot AJ to regain street credibility with the Aryan Nation brotherhood. Surprisingly there was sparse and very brief mention of the shooting.

Half a year later he’s still in rehab learning how to walk. This was a senseless hate crime that has changed AJ’s life forever. He will have a lifetime of expenses burdening him. We became friends four years ago while he was delivering on my route. It’s always fun sharing creative ideas with AJ and we’ve kept in touch since he transferred to a new location. AJ is one of the kindest and most trustworthy souls I know. Through all of this not once have I heard him complain or carry hate in his heart.

At this point, I have decided to share AJ’s story with others and ask for whatever help you can provide. I have set up a Go Fund Me account to raise money to help make it possible for him to manage his disabilities and out of pocket expenses. If you can provide any help it would be very greatly appreciated.

Don’t let AJ be forgotten . . .

Sincerely,
